Refund & Returns Policy
At Home Style Rugs & Flooring, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, our policy is outlined below.
Our standard returns policy lasts for 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
1. Change of Mind Returns
We accept returns if you change your mind, subject to the following conditions:

Restocking Fee: A $99 restocking fee per item applies to all change-of-mind returns. This amount will be deducted from your final refund.

Return Shipping: All return shipping and freight costs are the strict responsibility of the customer.

Condition of Goods: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the exact condition you received it, and in its original (or equivalent protective) packaging.
2. Non-Returnable Items
For health, safety, and operational reasons, the following items cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty:

Custom or made-to-order items (including custom-cut rugs, runners, and custom-measured window coverings).

Gift cards.

Items that are not in their original condition, are damaged, or are missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Clearance Items: Goods sold as "Clearance" are final sale and non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law. (Regular-priced and standard sale items are eligible for return).
3. Faulty or Damaged Items (Exchanges)
We proudly stand behind the quality of our products. We will replace or exchange items free of charge if they arrive defective, damaged, or fall short of acceptable quality under Australian Consumer Law.

To request a replacement for a damaged item, please email us with photographic evidence of the fault.
4. How to Return an Item
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. To initiate a return:

Email us: Contact our team at [Insert Email Address, e.g., homestyle.rugs@gmail.com to request a return.

Receive Authorisation: We will provide you with a Return Authorisation Number and the correct return delivery address.

Arrange Shipping: You may arrange your own trackable courier, or request that we organise the return freight for you (the cost of which will be deducted from your final refund).
Note: Cancellations for orders that have already been processed and dispatched will incur standard return freight and restocking fees.
5. Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected at our warehouse, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund (minus the $95 per item restocking fee and any arranged shipping costs) will be processed.

A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

Please allow up to 7 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
If you have not received your approved refund after 7 days, please contact your bank or credit card company, and then reach out to us at homestyle.rugs@gmail.com.
6. Shipping Liability
If you are arranging your own return shipping for an item valued over $100, we highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee a refund or replacement if your returned item is lost in transit and not received by our team.
