2.1 Pricing and Availability All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify prices or discontinue products at any time without prior notice. While we strive for accuracy, if a pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price and will refund you in full.

2.2 Product Accuracy We make every effort to display the colors, textures, and details of our products (such as rugs) as accurately as possible. However, due to differences in computer monitors and lighting, we cannot guarantee that the color you see on your screen will perfectly match the physical product.

2.3 Shipping and Delivery Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only. We are not liable for any delays caused by third-party couriers, natural disasters, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

2.4 Returns and Refunds (Online Products) Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

3. Flooring & Shutter Installation Services

3.1 Free Measure & Quote All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the measurements taken by our team and the visible site conditions at the time of the consultation.

3.2 Unforeseen Site Conditions Our installation quotes assume that your subfloor (concrete or timber) or window frames are structurally sound, level, and ready for installation.

  • If our installers discover hidden issues upon arrival or after removing existing flooring (e.g., severe moisture, concrete cracking, uneven subfloors requiring self-leveling compound, or asbestos), this will incur additional charges.

  • We will halt work and discuss these costs with you before proceeding.

3.3 Customer Responsibilities Prior to Installation Unless specifically included and itemized in your quote, you (the customer) are responsible for:

  • Clearing the installation area of all furniture, breakables, and personal items.

  • Removing existing floor coverings (if demolition and removal were not quoted).

  • Ensuring safe, clear access to the property for our installers and their materials.

  • Providing access to electricity and adequate lighting.

3.4 Installation Delays We will make every reasonable effort to install your products on the scheduled date. However, we cannot be held liable for delays caused by severe weather, supplier stock shortages, or other unforeseen events. We will communicate any scheduling changes to you as promptly as possible.

4. Warranties and Guarantees

4.1 Manufacturer Warranties Our hard flooring, carpets, and window coverings carry individual manufacturer warranties covering structural integrity and wear. These warranties vary by product and brand. The warranty is valid only if the product is maintained according to the manufacturer’s care guidelines.

4.2 Workmanship Guarantee Home Style Rugs & Flooring prides itself on professional craftsmanship. We provide a 12 months installation guarantee on all our workmanship. If an issue arises due to our fitting or installation process during this period, we will rectify it at no additional cost to you.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Home Style Rugs & Flooring shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with our products or services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for those specific products or services.

6. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and handle your personal information securely. Any personal data collected during the quote or purchase process (such as your name, address, and contact details) will be used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order or providing our services. We do not sell your data to third parties.
